Consequences

I feel that the consequences for child pornography should be extremely strict. I feel if you get caught doing child porn, you shoudl be put away for life with no exceptions. One is that it is extremely illegal because the kids are way underage and the peopel in the porn are old adults with these kids. So if you have the balls to do child pornography, you you except the penalty of the crime if you do the crime and get caught. Also i feel if you are associated with child pornography in any way what so ever, you too should get a high prison sentence with no bail or parol.

I alsdo believe that rapists should not be taken easy on. But I do not agree with the arguments of why people think rapists do what they do. I do not think people rape people jsut because they watch porn because that would mean every person who watches porn commits a rape crimeor just modeling their behavior with what they have seen in porn. I feel to name pornography as a cause to rape cases is ridiculous, not saying that rape does not happen, but it is not due to the viewing of pornography. Rapists due what they due because they are mentaly instable and that they can not find anything better to do with themselves because they are such low lifes.

Condoms: What a great Invention/ Education with Porn

I say that the use of condoms is great. Their is nothing better than having safe sex until you are married.  I feel it is very important to practice safe sex because you do not want to end up with a child that is not planned. I also feel that condoms are very easy to get and are promoted very good to their customers. I was searching through a site and Icame upon different commercials used to advertise condoms. I feel the most outgoing and useful commercial to me was the one with Jenna Jamison. Since Jenna is very sexy and is saying to use condoms, I will most likely use the condom she is advertising.  I feel whenever you see a person that is very attractive or sexy advertising something, you will most likely buy the product, especially condoms.

On campus today, I walked into the Student Union and someone came up to me and handed me a couple of condoms. At first I was liek what the hell is going on, but later on realized it was the health and education promoting safe se. I think it is great that the school is taking time at of their busy schedule and promote safe sex for all the kids at the University at Buffalo.

Another thing I want to talk about is the way education is taught through the use of pornography. I find it awesome and interesting at the same time that porn could be used for education. I once saw what they called naked new. I know this was discussed during the lecture, but I feel that when the news is taught in a sexy way, people will be more interested in the news. I feel that educating people through naked people helps stimulate peoples minds to new things.

Crazy Week

I di not now these worsd were in my vocabulary. Too much pornography in one week. No matter where I was there was something to do with porn.  On wednsday they had a porn seminar in the CFA. I found that to be very interesting. Then almost everyday during the week, Real Sex was shown and once is fine, but seeing this show everyday of the week can get to be a lilttle to much. Tuesday night I went downtown to the bars with some of my friends not knowing what was going on, but later I found out it was mardi Gras at the bar we were going to. Do I have to say any more, but I will.  Everywhere you looked, were girls flashing to get beads from guys. Girls have no shame, just to get some beads that mean absolutley nothing SDo I just wanted to let everyoen know how much pornography I witnessed this week.

Re: Not Gay??…That’s Okay

With regards to what veenoporn is saying “how he is appaled that one out of every four men in gay scenes are actually straight,”  This is normal in the porn world because gay scenes pay like 100 times more that for men to do straight porn.  The fact that you are freightened by this, is just showing how insecure you are about insecure you are.  If you were a porn star and the only way for you to make the big money is to do some gay scenes, I bet a million dollars you would do the scene.

Midpoint

Up to this point in the semester, I think I am doing a good job with posting up blogs, but I know I could find a way to put more up if I put 100 percent effort to it. I feel my strengthds so far in the class is that I always get all my blogs for the week up when theyu are due. I alwaystake my time when it comes to writing my blogs, so there are no misspellings, grammer errors or just any other stupid mistakes. But besides that, I do feel that I have stuff that needs improvement upon. One thing I need to improve on is writing more information in my blogs. I feel that some of my blogs are not long enough and that I could find a way to write more on my blogs.

Fix up on Isles8 “$Billion Industry”

It is said that the porn industry generates billions of dollars every year. So we have to ask, how you have an industry that generates $5 billion from videos, $150 million fro pay per view, and $1 billion from the internet. Easy, just show some sex. Sounds pretty simple, but the industry known as pornography has sky rocketed to a mainstream giant. So, thanks to people like Hugh Hefner and Larry Flynt, the industry has taken off and given back to its audiences in many ways. Others such as Beth Mansfield, who started up an online pornography site just to see how manypeople she could bring to her corner of her web. It turns out that she could bring a few peopel to her corner which shows in her
revenues of $800,000 a month by 1997. Others such as Danni Ashe, who was a stripper, realized why limit themselves to stripping in a club, and start a fan site that eventually grew to a $4 million a year website. To be a successful in the Internet porn business, you don’t have to be a gorgeous young blonde, which was shown with Seth Warshavsky. Warshavsky realized what people wanted at a given point in time and deliver it to them, such as the Pamela Anderson video and Viagra sales. Thanks to people having sex, the industry that we know as pornography will never diminish, but in fact keep filling people’s needs no matterhow broad they are.

I would have to agree with what Ang’s Blog with that porn is just like a regular job as working in a bank or in a grocery store.  I agree with how there is a great demand for pornography because everyone wants to be in a porno, but I have to say even porn stars het tired of doing their job just like every other job.  But the one thing I have to disagree with is that porn is great.  I believe everyone needs a lillte porn in their life or I feel it could be unhealthy not to.

Talent

In the lectures this week, I learned a little more about pornography. I found out about sex slavery and I find this to be disgusting, that they sell people fore sex in Canada. Also I learned in Bosnia they prostitute girls at the age of 14. That is completyly horrible and should be looked in. I do not care that Bosnia is not a big country, any place that has this happen is just wrong and people should try hard to do something about this problem.  I also learned about peopel getting forced into pornography. One case was with a Nigerian girl who was told she was going to studt abroad in Italy and instead was put onto the streets and gets arrested and sent back to home country. Later these peopel go tell her family and tell them they have to pay them for the fees or they will kill them. And this forces the girl to go back and continue being a prostitute. I find this to be ridiculous and that if this happened to someone I know, I would kill these people. The last thing that I got out of this lecture that I found to be interesting was trhat gay porn stars make the most money in the porn business.

In lecture 9, i found it interesting that Adelphia is now offering XXX moviews on demand. I feel it is a great way to make more money with their business. It is also a good idea to do this because you can find porn on the Internet and that with digital cable you have more control over who can view the material. So parents can preview and even block the channel so their young kids can not watch these stations.  I find it great thought how blockbuster refuses to rent out porn to its customers.  This is a greta idea because they justwant to make sure that there is no chance for underage kids to rent porn from their business.  I also found it interesting how people consider dating sites as pornography, such as facebook, and match.com.  I had no idea that these sites are considered in anyway pornography.

Re: Pornography in the Dorms

I would have to disagree with what Dara is saying about the porn in the dorms at the University of Washington.  I am not suprised that Hustler wanted to get college girls to pose nude and do pornography because a lot of the viewers are young and mostly in college.  So, what better than to have college girls perform if they are legal and very sexy.
